Materials and Applications

Process and Surface Treatment

Our stainless steel investment casting process normally includes drawing review, mold development, wax pattern making, wax tree assembly, shell making, dewaxing, melting and pouring, shell removal, cutting and grinding, surface treatment, inspection and packing.

Surface treatment can be arranged according to product requirements, including shot blasting, sandblasting, polishing, mirror polishing, passivation and pickling. The final surface finish should be selected according to product appearance, corrosion resistance and working environment.

Quality Control and Quotation

Quality control is important for stainless steel castings, especially for parts used in machinery, marine hardware and industrial applications. Inspection can include chemical composition analysis, dimensional inspection, hardness testing, surface inspection and other testing according to customer requirements.
