What is lost wax casting

Characteristics of lost wax casting

1、Lost wax casting castings have high dimensional accuracy and surface finish, which can cast castings with complex shapes. The general accuracy can reach 5~7 levels;

2、Lost wax casting can be very small castings, the minimum wall thickness of investment casting can be up to 0.5mm, weight can be as small as a few grams;

5、The shortcoming of investment casting method is that the process is complex and the production cycle is long. It is not suitable for the production of castings with large outline size
